StreamSend offers nothing less than efficiency coupled with simplicity. Manufactured by the same company name, some of the good features of this service consist of straightforward list of links, tools for creating demographic reports and filters that help you target specific email recipients. It also has the capacity to integrate with Google Analytics.

StreamSend’s goal is to enable users to build and manage high-quality lists, launch successful campaigns, send and track emails effectively. The service also offers free trial for 30 days for users to get a hands-on with these features.

Feature Set:

Users can view their StreamSend campaign activities on the central dashboard. In this way, users can monitor scheduled campaigns, quotas and complaints and feedbacks.

Filters included in the StreamSend application can help users define their criteria. This feature adds convenience as the service would send emails only to those contacts that meet those particular criteria. It saves time and allows users to focus on specific members on the list.

Advanced features that StreamSend offers include multiple lists with custom fields per database, support for multiple account users, an API integration, tagging capabilities, autorepsonders, email testing capabilities and a UTF-8 character support that enables users to send messages in all languages.

We would also like to suggest practical features that we feel should be added in this service like the capacity to include sound files in email messages, a SPAM test and available alias accounts displayed in the “From” fields of bulk emails.

Ease of Use:

The set up for the application was undoubtedly quick and simple. Creating multiple email lists and importing emails was also an effortless task. Setup options are readily accessible and organized at the top bar of the screen.

What we found to be a frustrating and laborious task was modifying the template. Using basic formatting tools like color and background change was already taxing. Beginners who would use this service might easily give up on this one.

Email Campaign Creation:

StreamSend’s email marketing service enables users to automatically format and deliver HTML, text-email and multipart meassages. They can also enter text or add images and links using the HTML editor. The service also offers a selection of professional HTML email templates. Users can also insert multiple mail merges in this application.

The program let’s users view the message HTML source code for editing and modifications. Users can also make an opt-in web form and enable them to host images on their server. The options and formatting commands are generally understandable and beneficial and users get to access to a weekly deliverability webinar.

Campaign Reporting:

StreamSend email campaign reporting tools consists of target emails, personalized emails, and email previews, release schedule, tracking and flagging tools, export lists, live tracking and a user’s own IP address.

Basic reports that this service delivers are click-through tracking, bounced, sent, forwarded and unsubscribed mails. A new feature with this service is its integration with Google Analytics.

Help/Support:

One of the aspects that StreamSend needs to improve greatly is its help and support section. While it has constantly adds good features, a great help section should boost the quality of service it offers. There wasn’t enough information available and StreamSend needs to broaden its database also.

StreamSend’s service can increase its efficiency by having available live support or customer support line instead of letting users fill out and submit a support ticket twice.

Summary:

One of the strengths of the StreamSend service is its filter feature that aids users in targeting definite groups on the mailing list. This allows users to maximize their marketing strategies. Its integration with Google Analytics is also an additional benefit to users.

Parts of StreamSend’s service that might need more upgrading is the usability rate of the HTML editor, more extensive help and support system and additional campaign reports.

StreamSend might also consider including a SPAM test and availability of email aliases and more visually appealing templates.
